an existing 1960’s office block was extended and converted into 24 apartments in this city centre location within chester city walls conservation area.
the building was reclad in contemporary stainless steel and lead cladding systems with external venetian blinds to the west facade to prevent solar gain.
the sculptor charles poulsen produced a section of scripted lead artwork which sits on the northern gable end and can be seen on the northern approach to the building.
